Today I got a chance to watch a short documentary called “Modern Marvel: Statue of Unity” about the Sardar Patel Statue, which is in the state of Gujarat, facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam build on the Narmada River.

The documentary is remarkably interesting to watch. This tells more details about this journey of the construction of this statue like when the idea came, how it became as a project, how the construction company executed and successfully completed this project.

The details are amazing. It is the outcome of 4000 workers at all levels worked day and night. The statue height is 182 meters reflects the 182 constituency in Gujarat. This is the tallest statue in the world.

The statue was made up of Iron. They used Iron for Iron Man of India statue. They have collected iron from the farmers across the country and used for the construction of this statue.

People can go up-to 153 meters of the statue through elevator to the viewing gallery. So many details in that. If you are interested to know more watch it.
