I was planning to write a blog about this longtime back. But now only the time has come. Still I feel it will help some people who don’t  know about this app. 

MParivahan is the mobile app rolled out by Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. This app is very useful for Two Wheeler and Four Wheeler owners to download and keep the Electronic version of the RC Book and the Driving Licenses. 

It will help people not to carry the original document of RC and DL. If the traffics police ask those documents for verification then this electronic version is good enough to show them and it is acceptable document equivalent to the physical copy. It is great relief isn’t it? 

Carrying the original document is always risk. In case if we lost or misplaced it then it is the great nightmare to get the duplicate copy of the same. It needs lot of your time and efforts. All this can be eliminated by using this Mobile App. 

MParivahan app is available for both Android and IOS users and it is completely free. Users can download this app from the respective app stores and can use it. 

Once the app is downloaded you need to register this app with your mobile number. Once the registration is done then you can search for the RC of 2 Wheeler / 4 Wheeler and also the DL.  

To download the RC you need to enter the Chassis number and Engine number of the vehicle. The downloaded document always available in your app dashboard which can be shown to the Traffic police when they want to check the documents. The downloaded RC is having the details of the insurance and PUC details. 

This app has the additional features like eChallan, Payment of tax etc.,. In case if you got fined for any traffic violations then the eChallan for the same is available in this app for which you can make online payments. 

Overall it is the very useful app for the vehicle owners.
